Scott Warren is President of Warren Associates International, a consulting firm supporting companies in Asia with their legal and investigative needs, especially where the law and technology meet.

Previously, he ran two legal technology companies in the region, Kroll Ontrack and Epiq Systems, building their eDiscovery and computer forensic practices to great success. As the head of the office, he planned the opening and expansion efforts, staffing, business development and oversaw project management, while responsible for the P&L and headquarters reporting and integration. Under his leadership, the hallmark of each of these organizations was to provide legally-savvy technological solutions in investigative and litigious settings.

Mr. Warren has served as managing director and head of office for Kroll in Japan, where he provided business intelligence & investigations expertise for corporate clients and government agencies, and specialized in computer forensics, electronic discovery, protecting intellectual property and anti-cybercrime efforts.

Prior to joining Kroll, Mr. Warren was senior attorney and director of internet safety enforcement for Microsoft, leading its cybercrime enforcement and child safety efforts in North Asia. He also directed Microsoft's anti-counterfeiting program in North Asia. He further served as the worldwide director of Xbox anti-piracy and Asia-wide lead counsel for Xbox, supporting all commercial operations in Asia. Before Microsoft, Mr. Warren was general counsel at Sega Corporation's Tokyo headquarters, where he was responsible for all international transactions, licensing, litigation and the company's overall anti-piracy program. Earlier in his career, Mr. Warren was a trial attorney litigating civil cases in Los Angeles, Calif.

Mr. Warren holds his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, Calif. He received his undergraduate degrees in psychology and music, with a minor in history, from the University of Denver and the Lamont School of Music in Denver, Colo.
